According to Klaus Zaugg (Watson), the Swede, who has one year left on his deal with the Bears, will remain in the capital city.

SC Bern

Missing the pre-playoffs will not have consequences for Johan Lundskog and his staff. The Swede will thus lead SC Bern for another season, as initially intended when the National League team hired Lundskog in April 2021.

As for the roster, Zaugg writes that Calle Andersson will join HC Lugano on a four-year deal. SC Bern will, however, take over his salary for the 2022-23 season.

Hnat Domenichelli, team manager of HCL, denied earlier this week that they had agreed to terms with Andersson and that while they are interested that they would only seriously consider acquiring Andersson if it was not to the terms of his current contract with SC Bern.

As for Sven Bärtschi, it might still take a while before it will be clear whether the forward will play for the Bears next season or not. Zaugg had reported earlier this week that only the financial aspect of the deal required further discussion.
