According to Grégory Beaud (Blick), Yannick Herren aims to sign a one-year contract with a National League team. Thus far, his agent has not yet found a solution for him, but, as Herren states, he is "convinced that we will find something good for me."
Before HC Fribourg-Gottéron and Herren parted ways, there had been an offer from EHC Visp, but "it was too early for me to think about playing in the Swiss League. That's why we looked for another solution with Gottéron. In the end, I think it was good for everyone."
Yannick Herren played 17 games for the Dragons and nine for HC Lugano (two goals, one assist) last season. His contract with HCFG was dissolved at the beginning of July.
