After two financially hard seasons, it looks like HC Davos will be able to close the 2022-23 financial year in the plus.

"In the fall, our equity was increased to 4.5 million francs. Then we wanted to achieve a profit of two million to get back to the almost 6.5 million francs in equity," Marc Gianola tells the Südostschweiz. "As things stand, we will succeed in doing that."

They were able to get to that profit due to the hardship funds that will only be calculated in this season as well as money from the rent generated by the WEF. "From now on, all investments will go back into the sport, so that we can play hockey successfully," Gianola states.
