"Teppo is the right coach for the upcoming tasks," EHC Winterthur's team manager Mario Antonelli states. "For our sporting progress, we need a clear concept and stability. Teppo has the ability to bring every single player further."
Not yet clear is, who will be Kivelä's assistant coach next season. Talks with possible successors to Reto Kobach, however, are at an advanced stage, the club informs.
For Teppo Kivelä it is going to be the third season in Winterthur. Before coming to the Eulachstadt, he mainly worked in Italy and Austria.
