While the Swiss League team reached its goals in terms of marketing and sponsoring and did not overspend, they did not sell as many tickets as budgeted. According to the Oltner Tagblatt, attendance was particularly disappointing in the playoff quarterfinal and semifinal series.

As is often the case, due to fewer spectators in the arena, they also generated less revenue from their catering. There is, however, a light at the end of the tunnel, they have already surpassed the number of season tickets they thought they would sell for the upcoming season.

As for their board of directors, all members have been re-elected for another term. Yannick Erb and Jürg Brupbacher will, however, step down from their positions in a year. EHC Olten is thus already looking for their replacements.
