Vladimir Sobotka's contract is valid for a month for now, but can always be extended beyond that. According to HC Sparta Prague's press release, several teams were interested in the services of the Czech forward.
Prior to his stint in Czechia, he suited up for the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers, recording two assists in four games for the National League team. His short-term deal with the Lakers was not extended.
