Whether or not the option will be activated depends on Austria's performance in the 2024 and 2025 World Championships. Roger Bader will continue to work in both his role as a head coach as well as a team manager of the Austrian men's national team.
Bader has been working for the ÖEHV in various capacities since 2014. He has been their national team head coach since 2016 and their team manager since 2017.
