In addition to six injured or sick players, HC Fribourg-Gottéron also lost defenseman Jérémie Kamerzin in Thursday's game.

There is no information yet about the severity of the 31-year-old's injury. "I'm waiting to hear from Kamerzin," head coach Mark French tells La Liberté after the game. Currently, he has only six defensemen left, as also Sandro Forrer (concussion?) and Philippe Furrer (lower-back) are injured. For Furrer it does not seem to be too severe: "His situation is assessed on a daily basis," French says.

In Fribourg's offense, Julien Sprunger was missing against Lukko Rauma due to illness, as well as the injured Tristan Vauclair, Andrei Bykov (lower-body) and Adrien Lauper (thigh).
