mt_ignoreAccording to Elite Prospects' Philipp Hofer, Shayne Wiebe might leave Switzerland in direction of Italy. EHC Olten had announced in March that they were not going to extend the Canadian's contract.

The 26-year-old forward joined EHC Olten from AHL's Connecticut Whale in summer 2013. Since then, Wiebe appeared in 157 NLB games for the Mice, in which he managed to put up a total of 61 goals and 71 assists for 132 points. (rlu)
