As the Swedish newspaper "Aftonbladet" reports, HV71 Jonköping is looking for two new defensemen - one name that is circulating right now is "No comment", says HV71 general manager Ola Thorwall on a possible signing of Chris Campoli. Because they had a really bad start into the new season, HV71 is enforcing their team. Therefore, they are looking for two new defensemen.
As "Aftonbladet" writes, they are in negotiations with currently injured HCL-defender Chris Campoli, whose contract with Lugano is running until the end of the season - but which includes a release clause for the club at the end of October. "I can neither confirm, nor deny it", says Ola Thorwall, and hopes that their further roster-planning "is clear within one week".
Campoli would probably be available for a move to Sweden - right now it seems unlikely that Lugano is interested in keeping Campoli, due to his injury.
