SC Bern interested in Niklas Schlegel

The players' agent already revealed in the Aargauer Zeitung in mid-November that they were looking at the market. At the time Rufener had not been willing to disclose with whom he had been in talks regarding Schlegel. He only stated that two out of HC Lugano, SC Bern and HC Davos are interested in the goaltender.
With Leonardo Genoni leaving in direction of Zug next summer, the Bears are busy looking for a replacement for the netminder. Schlegel is, at least according to Rufener, thus one of the options team manager Alex Chatelain is looking at.
Niklas Schlegel is a product of the ZSC Lions' organization. This season, he has appeared in eleven games for them, posting a .920 save percentage.
