Diaz is under investigation due to a hit to the head of Lausanne HC's Torrey Mitchell in the 38th minute of play. EV Zug will have to make do without him for at least one game.
Maxim Lapierre, on the other hand, might face further disciplinary action for slashing the ZSC Lions' Chris Baltisberger in the 34th minute of yesterday's game.
