Does not want to join GSHC anymore: Marco Maurer.
Back in January, Marco Maurer signed a two-year contract with Genève-Servette HC. "But under the condition that Chris McSorley will be coach," the 31-year-old explains to journalist Klaus Zaugg (Watson). This, however, will not be the case anymore and Maurer, as a consequence, does not want to leave Biel: "I'll do everything I can to stay."
If there is any interest in Biel to keep Maurer on board is still open: "Let's see what the season-end-talks will bring," team manager Martin Steinegger says to the same source. "But in any case, he has to clarify the contractual situation with Servette."
