"Since my return to Geneva in 2018, my wish was to stay here and become an important player for the team. I've worked hard and this new contract is a sign of trust on part of the staff," Eliot Berthon, whose contract would have expired at the end of the season, states.

Furthermore, GSHC also announced that they have changed the terms of the contract of Deniss Smirnovs' deal. He has now been signed to a professional contract. The length of his deal has, however, remained the same: he will stay with GSHC until the end of the 2021-22 season.
