The 28-year-old was put on waivers by the Chicago Blackhawks Sunday evening and he could land in Lausanne, unless another NHL team claims him off waivers.

Philip Holm

This is what Sport-Center in the online edition of Le Matin reports tonight. The Swede was signed by the Chicago Blackhawks to a one-year, two-way deal in August last year. Ever since, however, he only suited up for their AHL affiliate, the Rockford IceHogs, recording four goals and eleven assists in 30 games.

Holm, who is a product of SHL's Djurgårdens IF, has an overall experience of 223 games in Sweden's highest league (45 points), 68 games with Novgorod from the Kontinental Hockey League (31 points) as well as 96 AHL games with the Utica Comets, Chicago Wolves, and the Rockford IceHogs, scoring 55 points.
