The 34-year-old forward will, however, still use up one of the import player spots of the Seelanders next season.

Marc-Antoine Pouliot to stay?

As Martin Steinegger tells the Journal du Jura, they have offered Marc-Antoine Pouliot, who is currently sidelined by a knee injury, a one-year contract. As he will not receive his Swiss citizenship next season, he will once again serve as an import player.

Steinegger is also thinking about filling two import spots with defenders. One of those two might be claimed by Anssi Salmela who has recorded five goals and eleven assists in 35 games. While Steinegger is not yet entirely sure about his strategy for next season, he definitely does not plan to start the 2020-21 season with five import players.
