As a report by the Tribune de Genève shows, GSHC plans to put more emphasis on their youth player development system. An important part of this are minor league affiliates.
With HC Sierre, the Grenats already have such an affiliate. However, Sierre has reduced the number of Geneva players on their roster from five to two in order to gain more independence. GSHC will thus look to find another associate willing to give big minutes to their prospects.
