Pierre Dorian, General Manger of the Ottawa Senators, revealed in his media availability that the Swede will join the Tigers for the first part of the season.

Klaus Zaugg (Watson) reported a week ago that the SCL Tigers had taken an interest in the defenseman. Now, the Senators have confirmed that Brännström will be play with the Tigers until the NHL camps begin.

Erik Brännström is a Swedish defenseman, currently under contract with the Ottawa Senators for another two seasons. The 21-year-old joined the organization in 2019 as part of a trade between the Sens and the Vegas Golden Knights. Last season, Brännström split time between the NHL (31 games) and the AHL (27 games).
