"Everything is still up in the air, I haven't made my mind up yet and I will take all the time I need in order to make a decision," Santeri Alatalo tells the Luzerner Zeitung. The Finn has received offers from several teams and is weighing his options.
"The negations will drag on until next year, I am in no hurry to make a decision," the defenseman states. Omar Gargantini of RSI reported last week that HC Lugano was close to signing Alatalo to a new deal. A couple of days later, team manager Reto Kläy told Klaus Zaugg (Watson) that he does not expect the Finn to re-sign with EV Zug.
The team manager, however, tells the Luzerner Zeitung that they would, of course, like to continue their working relationship with Santeri Alatalo. It thus remains to be seen whether the Finn will play hockey for a different team next season or if he will play a ninth season with the Bulls.
