"We are currently in talks. I am looking over the proposal with my people," Andrei Bykov tells La Liberté. "I hope to be able to make a decision soon."
The forward is happy that things have been finally set in motion as he waited quite a bit for a new offer from the Dragons: "I concentrated on the Gottéron option and I didn't want to look elsewhere."
La Liberté already reported in January that if Bykov were to receive an offer from HCFG, it would likely come with a big salary cut. The forward was not willing to talk about money with the newspaper but stated that there are some "parameters that have to be adjusted."
