More than two dozen candidates have applied to become HC Davos' new team manager, the NZZ writes. Among them were candidates from the surroundings of the NHL and also from Finland. Also SC Bern's Alex Chatelain is supposed to have handed in his file. But in the end, HCD has apparently decided to go with Jan Alston.

The deal with Alston, who was team manager in Lausanne for a total of nine years until 2020, could already be officially announced by his new club in the upcoming days, the same source reports. He will thus try to fill the shoes of Raeto Raffainer, who left the club about two months ago in direction of Bern.
