EHC Biel loses talent

According to the Bieler Tagblatt, Lian Bichsel will play in Sweden as of next season. He did, however, not disclose for which organization he will suit up.
"That has to be respected," team manager Martin Steinegger tells the Journal du Jura. "But I think, it is more of a personal than a sporting decision."
Bichsel is one of the 25 players Marcel Jenni has selected for his U18 World Championship roster. The 16-year-old, who recorded five goals and 23 assists in 45 games for EHC Biel's U20 team, will play his first World Championship.
