According to the Tages-Anzeiger, team manager Sven Leuenberger has not yet negotiated with Lukas Flüeler. "Flüeler is definitely playing better than last season. [...] I told him that we will give him a chance, watch him closely. But it is too early to draw a conclusion."
The 32-year-old goaltender does not have an agent and would thus have to look for other options himself. However, Flüeler is not really interested in leaving the Lions: "Everyone who knows me knows: I played my first National League game in Zurich and I want to play my last one here as well."
