According to the Berner Zeitung, the SCL Tigers have issued an offer for a contract extension to Alexandre Grenier. There are also rumblings that the forward, who has recorded eleven goals and 22 assists in 26 games, has caught the eye of HC Lugano. Grenier, for his part, is not in a hurry to sign a new deal.
To the Eco dello Sport, however, HCL's team manager Hnat Domenichelli firmly denies this rumor: "I don't know where it came from but he is a player we are not interested in."
As for the SCL Tigers' goalie situation, Luca Boltshauser remains a candidate for them for the upcoming season. Petr Svoboda recently told 24 heures that the goalie would finish the season with them, thus putting a lid on the rumors regarding a potential trade between the Tigers and Lausanne HC.
