"He was one of the consistently good goalkeepers in the KHL and also has a history with the Czech national team," Sven Leuenberger states. "After an injury at the beginning of the season, he is now ready for action again. He convinced us in a four-day tryout."
Jakub Kovář started the season with Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg (KHL), a team he has been with since 2017, but was only able to play one game for them this season due to injury.
