The 26-year-old forward has signed a one-year contract with the Dragons and will thus stay until the end of the 2022-23 season.

There were already rumblings last week that Jacob de la Rose was looking for a new place to play next season. Christian Dubé, head coach and team manager of HC Fribourg-Gottéron, confirmed to La Liberté that they were interested in the Swede but that several teams were looking to acquire the forward.

The forward, who was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in 2013, was part of Sweden's Olympic team this year and suited up in 41 games for Färjestad BK, recording six goals and nine assists.
