According to the Luzerner Zeitung, Reto Kläy has not yet talked with his assistant coachs about their future. He will, however, start discussing with them in the international break.
As for EV Zug's head coach, asked by the newspaper whether he can exclude leaving next summer, he had this to say: "My focus is entirely on EV Zug. I'm motivated every day and I'm not preoccupied with the distant future."
While he does not hide the fact that a job in the NHL is a dream of his, he also wants to achieve more woth his current team: "If I sense that the team needs a new voice in the locker room, it is time for a change. But I've never had that feeling so far."
