Jules Sturny's new contract is valid until the end of the current season. Team manager Jan Alston decided to sign him the reinforce his offense which has been depleted due to injuries.
Sven Jung, Raphael Prassl, and Yannick Frehner are all sidelined. While the latter is practicing on the ice again, it will take some time for him to be back to his usual level of play. Prassl, for his part, might even miss the remainder of the season. It is not yet clear if he will be able to play again this season.
