At their press conference today, HC Ambrì-Piotta announced their new CEO. It is an Austrian-born businessman named John Mischkulnig with a history in management within the industrial and food sector. He is currently working as a business consultant.

In the 2022-23 season, the club made an operating profit after running at a deficit the year prior. The gains from this and possibly coming years will be used to repay Covid- and other, private loans.

The Board of Directors has decided to merge a number of companies to make things more efficient. Giovani HCAP and HCAP Girls will be the first ones, as well as Gotthard Park & Events and Gotthard Cathering. HCAP Services might be merged with the parent company HCAP SA.

In the sports section, the club will continue to count on the team manager-head coach duo of Paolo Duca and Luca Cereda for the coming season.

The Board also intends to increase the means available for the Youth Sector, and, due to the disbanding of the HC Lugano Ladies, the HCAP Girls. Regarding the HCB Ticino Rockets, the results of talks between Ambrì-Piotta, GDT Bellinzona and another National League club will be announced in the coming days.
