Tim Heed's current deal would have expired at the end of the upcoming season. HC Ambrì-Piotta is not the first Swiss team Heed has played for. He used to play for HC Lugano in the 2020-21 season before joining Spartak Moskva for one season.
He ended his first season with HCAP with ten goals and 14 assists in 44 games. On average, he was on the ice for 25:09 minutes per game - longer than any of his teammates.
