Klaus Zaugg (Watson) already reported at the end of October that Joren van Pottelberghe was set to join HC Lugano.
HCL's goalie tandem will thus consist of Van Pottelberghe, who has appeared in six games for EHC Biel this season, and Niklas Schlegel next season.
As a consequence, the Bianconeri have not extended an offer to Mikko Koskinen for the next season. The 35-year-old Finn will thus have to look for a new employer come spring. Koskinen has appeared in eleven games for HC Lugano this season, posting a 88.0% save percentage.
