Starting from the next season, HC Ajoie will be able to count on the services of Benjamin Conz, who grew up in the region but never played professionally for the Ajoulots. The 32-year-old goaltender, who signed a two-year contract with HC Ajoie, thus leaves HC Ambrì-Piotta after seven years. In the Canton of Jura, Conz will once again team up with Damiano Ciaccio.
The transfer of Conz to HC Ajoie frees up the space for HC Ambrì-Piotta to acquire Gilles Senn. The current goaltender of HC Davos has also signed a two-year deal with his new club. Senn, 27, has been with HC Davos since his junior years, with the exception of a two-year stint in North America with the organization of the New Jersey Devils. In Ambrì, Senn will partner up with Janne Juvonen.
In eleven games with the Biancoblù, Benjamin Conz posted a save percentage of 0.927, while Gilles Senn is averaging a save percentage of 0.905 in seven games with HC Davos.
