Initially signed until December, Alex Formenton will remain in Ambrì until the end of the season. The 24-year-old joined HC Ambrì-Piotta in October as a free agent after already spending the past season with them.
This season so far, Formenton scored four goals and collected three assists in 15 games. With 16:50 minutes on the ice per game, Formenton is the fourth most used forward by head coach Luca Cereda.
