Reto Schäppi will thus leave the ZSC Lions at the end of the current season. The forward, who has only ever played for the Lions throughout his career, will thus embark on a new journey.
When it became clear in late November that he might have to look at other options, Schäppi told Blick that he had hoped to one day end his career with the ZSC Lions but that he was now seriously looking for alternatives.
The decision has now fallen. This season, the forward has appeared in 26 games for the ZSC Lions, recording one goal and two assists.
