A member of EHC Biel's organization since 2021, when he joined them from SC Bern, Mattheo Reinhard has earned himself a two-year extension thanks to "his impressive skills on the ice and his high level of game intelligence" that makes him one of the "most promising players in his age class", reads the statement of EHC Biel.
This season, Reinhard suited up eleven times for EHC Biel (zero points) and nine times with their U20 squad (nine points). He mostly suited up in the Swiss League on loan to HCV Martigny, collecting seven points in 21 games. Moreover, he participated in the World Juniors, recording two assists in four games.
