As EHC Basel terminated its season with a loss in the quarterfinal series of the Swiss League playoffs against EHC Visp, their players are free to join the clubs that acquired their B-license. In the case of Dario Kummer and Jules Sturny, they will reinforce SC Bern for the rest of the season.
In 38 games with Basel this season, Kummer scored 14 goals and collected 26 assists. For his part, Sturny found the back of the net twelve times and put up 13 assists in 46 games.
