Despite still having a year left on his deal with Färjestad BK, Carl Dahlström is likely leaving the Swedish club for Switzerland. A clause in the contract allows him to do so. When first reported, the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers were mentioned as his presumed destination, but as the Värmlands Folkblad (relayed by hockeysverige.se) writes, it might just be HC Lugano instead.
The National League club would have to pay a predefined amount of money to activate the clause.
