On Sunday, the almost 38-year-old suited up for the Oberaargauer for the third time in his career. He will stay with them until further notice.

Eric Himelfarb played for the SCL Tigers in 2017-18.

Currently under contract with EHC Basel, Eric Himelfarb was available to help out in Langenthal. How long the Swiss-Canadian will remain there is not yet known. "A few players are missing because of the U20 World Championship," Himelfarb explains to the Zofinger Tagblatt. "So I think I'll be here until mid-January."

It is the third time in his career that Eric Himelfarb dresses in yellow and blue. He already played for SC Langenthal during the 2009-10 season and the 2017-18 season. Back then as an import-player, now as a Swiss citizen. He received the Swiss passport in 2019.
