HC Thurgau signs EHC Basel's Silvio Schmutz

For the next two years, Silvio Schmutz will part of HC Thurgau. He joins them from the MySport League's EHC Basel, where he would still have had another season left on his contract. The defenseman only made seven games for Basel though, in comparison to 24 with the Lions on a B-licence.

Schmutz has previously suited up for EHC Winterthur in the Swiss League and made some appearances with HC Davos in the National League.
