Most recently, Stan Horanský has played for EHC Olten on loan from HC Ambrì-Piotta. According to the Oltner Tagblatt, the two parties are close to extending the 27-year-old's stint in Olten. Horanský would thus leave Ambrì prematurely as his contract with the Biancoblù is still valid until the end of the upcoming season.
If Horanský were to stay, EHC Olten would be looking for an additional center and a winger, the same source reports - and probably also a defender, as David Stämpfli, who has been loaned to them by EHC Kloten, seems to be too expensive. Olten has reportedly already signed a winger from the National League, but not yet communicated the transfer.
Moreover, it looks like Rolf Schrepfer will remain EHC Olten's assistant coach. Having received a lot of positive feedback from the players, the club is interested in keeping him around, the Oltner Tagblatt writes. The problem: Schrepfer is contractually bound to the MySports League's EHC Arosa for next season.
