As the Davide Mottis, president of the HCB Ticino Rockets, tells La Regione, he has been pleased with Beauchemin's performance: "First of all, he settled in very well, secondly because his contribution in the locker room and on the ice, in practice and in the game has been very positive."
No wonder that the Canadian remains in the Rockets' plans also for the next season in the "new" Swiss League: "In the next weeks we will discuss with him whether to continue our collaboration," Mottis says. "And if he should sign with a more important club we would be sorry, but at the same time happy for him."
With 44 points (16 goals) in 48 games, François Beauchemin was the Rockets's top scorer this regular season. He also appeared in two games with HC Ajoie in the National League (one assist).
