Gross gets an opportunity to showcase his skills in the NHL camp

Gross will play his second season with the Oshawa Generals this year. The defenseman, who is a product of EV Zug's organization, recorded four goals and ten assists in 58 regular season games for the OHL team.

Gross will be part of Group C in the Rangers' training camp which will consist of Peter Holland, Jesper Fast, Chris Kreider, Kevin Shattenkirk, Bobby Butler, Chris Bigras, Mats Zuccarello, Matt Beleskey, Alex Georgiev, Libor Hajek, Rob O'Gara, Brett Howden, Jeremy Brodeur, Filip Chytil, Brandon Crawley and Ryan Gropp.
