The incident occurred in the 25:34 minute of play of last night's game. Fiala received a major penalty for boarding and a game misconduct. Roy was not able to finish the game.
The forward is going to have his hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety today. Fiala is currently in his third season with the Minnesota Wild. In eight games this season, he has recorded three goals.
