The Montreal Canadiens have announced the signing of David Reinbacher to a three-year entry-level contract. Born in Austria, the defenseman spent most of his junior time in Switzerland, the latter part with EHC Kloten - where he also made his first steps in men's hockey.
The 18-year-old just participated in the Canadiens' development camp, which took place from July 1 to 4. His next appointment with them will likely be the rookie camp in September. Whether he will spend coming season in Kloten or Canada is not yet clear.
