Philipp Kurashev did receive a qualifying offer from the Blackhawks. However, he did decide to file for arbitration last week. Chicago's GM Kyle Davidson did, however, expect hin to file anyway.
At the time, he was positive that the two parties would find a solution before the set arbitration date. They thus have another ten days to come to an agreement. Otherwise, the arbitration hearing will take place.
