Philipp Kurashev was awarded a two-year contract with a salary cap hit of $2,250,000. He will thus stay a member of the Chicago Blackhawks until the end of the 2024-25 season.

While Kurashev was looking for a $2.65 million cap hit, the Blackhawks were hoping for $1.4 million. The Swiss forward was qualified by the Blackhawks but decided to file for salary arbitration as the original bid was set at $787,500.
