Valdemar William Hull had been drafted by the Mississauga Steelheads at the 2022 CHL Import Draft. In seven games for them, he recorded one assist. The Steelheads then placed him on waivers.
Hull will now continue his adventure in North America with the Niagara IceDogs. It is the first season overseas for Hull, who had been playing for HC Fribourg-Gottéron up to this past summer.
