Holmgren has played her entire career in Sweden thus far. For the past six seasons, the defender suited up for Djurgårdens IF and also served as their captain last season. In 29 games, she recorded four goals and four assists.
Aaro Törmänen, for his part, was under contract with EHC Winterthur last season (one goal, one assist in 45 regular-season games). The 22-year-old defenseman will be at the disposal of the Bellinzona Rockets this season.
