According to SportExpressen, John Quenneville and Leksands IF are, however, in advanced contract negotiations and the Canadian forward might become an official member of the SHL team as early as next week. However, some details still need to be resolved for that to happen.
The ZSC Lions announced at the end of May that Quenneville would not return to Zürich for another season. The forward joined the National League team in August 2021 and recorded 20 goals and 17 assists in 46 regular-season games for them.
