Asked in January about the Swede's future with EHC Biel, Martin Steinegger had told the Journal du Jura that everything remains open.

While his tenure with EHC Biel might thus come to an end, there seems to be interest from Sweden in Jesper Olofsson. According to Aftonbladet (relayed by HockeyNews.se), MoDo might be interested in acquiring the 31-year-old forward.

Supposedly, MoDo is looking to create a new first line and Olofsson would be one of the forwards they would place in that line. The Swede, who is currently in his fourth season in Switzerland and his second with EHC Biel, has recorded ten goals and eleven assists in 36 games for the Seelanders.
